Specialty Vehicle Concepts, Inc. (Currently doing business as “SVCI Tactical”), was founded in February of 2005 by President and Owner, Matt Stehno. Originating with the efforts and aspirations of a single manned operation, Matt began to seek out and take on projects from area police departments & fire departments. Based in Murray Utah, the company began to take its “baby steps” approach to building solid relationships with the local customer base.

Since the company’s inception, SVCI Tactical has grown from a one man operation to an aspiring small business that employs 6 full time skilled craftsman and a number of part time sales / technicians / office management staff. Our current facility, located at 79 West 4500 South (on the Frontage Road ) Suite # 1 in Murray, is a 4400 sq. foot building, featuring 1200 sq of office / conference room / showroom space, and 3200 sq feet of shop space.

Our primary focus is in designing & upfitting vehicle based equipment solutions for law enforcement. We produce everything from full out covert surveillance vans, mobile command vehicles / trailers, SWAT deployment vehicles, incident command platforms, etc… We offer full turnkey vehicle solutions to best meet the needs of each customer.

We also offer a wide variety of modular sruveillance and tactical products, as well as have a small retail sales store for local law enforcement customers to purchase tactical equipment / gear from.
